About the Session:
Canada’s judiciary play a pivotal role in mediating individual and institutional insights. Judiciary are central to addressing the systemic barriers to advancing mental health in the workplace, such as highlighting the mutuality among organizational and individual interests..Postmodern research makes it possible to develop an integrative framework to help jurists tacitly understand causal origins and comorbid mechanisms underlying human behavior. The presentation and white paper attempt to resolve the ‘confusion of tongues’ to allow us to bridge the nexal gap between law and psychology._It asks participants what they think the judiciary need to know about mental health in their areas of professional expertise. Its integrative foundation is focused on raising a controversial, but critical element required in characterization the human mind under duress – comorbid causation.
